Relationship Counselling & Conflict Resolution
'Relationships are at the heart of our lives, bringing joy, connection, and meaning. Yet, every relationship has its challenges, whether it's overcoming communication barriers, rebuilding trust, managing conflicts, or adapting to life's many changes.'
At Mindscape NQ, relationship therapy is available 'In-Person', in Townsville City, for couples, including same-sex partners and those in diverse relationship structures, friends, colleagues, or family members and involves a combination of individual sessions and joint discussions to support meaningful connections and growth. We understand that relationships require care, effort, and understanding to thrive. Our aim is to create a space where you feel respected, valued, and supported.
As a husband-and-wife counselling team, we offer a unique and balanced approach to couples and relationship counselling. Drawing on both personal experiences and professional training, we create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your relationship dynamics, reconnect with each other, and work toward shared goals. Whether you're seeking to strengthen your bond, resolve conflicts, or rediscover your connection, we're here to guide your way forward.

How Does Relationship Counselling Work?
At Mindscape NQ, we understand that every relationship is unique, which is why our counselling process begins with building a strong foundation of trust and understanding. Your first session is an opportunity for us to meet as a group – you and your partner, or friend or colleague or maybe family member, and both of us as your counsellors. This initial meeting is a chance for us to get to know each other and determine if we’re the right fit for your needs. We’ll explore what has brought you to counselling, your shared goals, and any individual concerns. |
Further Sessions are structured to provide both shared and individual opportunities for reflection and conversation. Typically, we offer 75 minute sessions to allow enough time for a comprehensive and meaningful experience. The first 45 minutes are spent speaking with each of you privately, giving both parties the space to share openly and honestly in a one-on-one setting. Afterward, we come back together for the remaining time to explore insights, align goals, and create connection as a group.
This structure helps create a balance between individual expression and collaborative understanding. By combining private conversations with shared dialogue, we aim to strengthen communication, build trust, and create a pathway toward resolution and growth for your relationship.
