​2025 was our breast cancer year and one thing I came to understand very quickly is that breast cancer isn’t pink, and it isn’t fluffy. You want to stay strong, but it’s complex, overwhelming, and often far more disruptive to your life than people realise. Your family and friends care deeply and want to help, but unless you’ve been through it, it’s hard to fully understand the impact it has.
Making support accessible
Fred and I offer low-cost counselling as a conscious choice. During our own experience with breast cancer, we were supported by others in ways that made a real difference to us. Offering accessible counselling is one way we can give something back.
I work with women who are going through breast cancer, offering support at all stages - from diagnosis through to life after treatment, no matter how long ago that was. I offer a space for women to talk openly about what they are going through - not just the medical side, but the emotional impact, the uncertainty, the identity shifts, and the strain it can place on relationships and daily life. I've been there and I understand.

Fred supports partners who are often carrying their own emotional load while trying to be there for the person they love. His work creates space for partners to be heard, supported, and understood in their own experience.
